The JDSU 2.5 Gbps RXA M DRGL 099 00-000 receiver optical subassembly (ROSA) is designed for multirate applications in 1310/1550 nm windows from 100 Mbps up to 2.5 Gbps in PON and SONET transceiver modules. This ROSA incorporates an avalanche photodiode (APD) chip and a transimpedance amplifier (TIA) into a hermetic, 5-pin TO-46 package that is actively aligned to a plastic LC receptacle.
