With a history of developing technologies that keep the optical coating industry moving forward, JDSU is one of the world's largest independent producers of optical thin film filters, thin film coatings, and components. The JDSU Custom Optics product group, which originated as the Optical Coating Laboratory, Inc. (OCLI) in 1948, continues to advance the pace of optical coating innovation through its technological leadership, state-of-the-art processes and facilities, and full-service customer care.

We have a diverse portfolio, including visual, near infrared (IR), and IR filters, antireflection coatings, custom waveplates, optical retarders, ITO coatings for heater panels, and EMI display filters. Other products include beam splitters and optical sensors for aerospace applications; optical filters for medical instruments; solar cell covers for satellites, and much more.
